All year 8 students recently participated in a very exciting all day Stem project. The purpose of the day was to build and assemble robots.

From the beginning each roboteer learned valuable life skills like communications, planning, getting a group consensus, cooperation and negotiations.

STEM skills are also brought to life in areas of electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, programming by planning, designing, building (and sometimes rebuilding), testing and driving the robots.

A group of selected pupils were chosen on their ability to plan, communicate and design the robots and each received a trophy.
